What is the best thing that I love about my work?
Probably what I like the most is the fact that every new project is a new journey, sometimes you finish a project and you are exausted but the idea of a new creative process gives you back energies almost instantly.
What is my idea of perfect happiness?
Health and lots of it, lately I tried on my skin what the lack of health really is and it’s amazing how much we give for granted when we are healthy.
What is my greatest fear?
I fear having nothing to do more than anything else, the idea of sitting in my house having no scope terrifies me. I could also say that I fear for my own company, not being able to make our own games anymore but it’s true till a point: being useless to myself and the others is way worse.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
Not being able to immediately separate the business from my emotive self, as a very emotive person I need to take some minutes/hours to detach myself emotionally from business affairs.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?
Difficult question, probably the person that enchanted me the most when I was way younger was Edwin Catmull. He is one of those guys that really shaped the industry of CG and he ended up naturally where he is now.
What is my greatest extravagance?
Oh my God pick a number from the list! In this period of my life I would say that FPV Racing Drones are definitely my extravagance, some years ago I would had said motorcycles: i had too many of them.
On what occasion would I lie?
For the good of my company and of the people working in it but I would never blatantly lie, it should be a small lie leading to something great anyway.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
I dislike the most the fact that business sometimes kills creativity, it’s very hard to keep your creative self in the same body with your entrepreneur self.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
Ubisoft about 2012 I think it was the happier time for me. It was not because of the company or because of the project, the coleagues were something amazing and I developed many real friendships!
If I could, what would I change about myself?
Nothing, I am myself because I am myself, you take the full package or nothing.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
I made an amazing career very fast not sleeping and focusing 100% on the projects, I think this is my greatest achievement.
What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me?
Having money to be wrong, because even with all the money in the world we are humans and we will fail at some point but with a lot of money I can fail and try again.
Where would I most like to live?
Where my girfriend and my dog are.
What is my most treasured possession?
I don’t have a most treasured possession, I have many items I like to own and use but there is nothing I would never give away. Getting too much attached to objects is not part of myself.
What is my most marked characteristic?
I like being the happy guy that makes friends very easily, it’s an old thing that never changed even growing up. If you don’t try to mess with me or my company I can really be your best friend.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
I would say that being my city Rome it’s very difficult to answer this question without getting emotional about other locations.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?
My house, I love to cook and to eat. Come to my place and you’ll understand…
What books influenced my life and how?
I am not the big reader guy, but back when I was reading a lot there were 2 books that literally changed things for me. The first one was “Siddhartah” by Herman Hesse and the second one was “Illusions” by Richard Bach. It’s amazing writing about it because I just discovered that I like them for the same reason: they talk about your inner god and the path to reach the enlightenment.
Who are my favorite writers?
Luigi Pirandello and Stephen King, two completely different authors that can spread magic in their own unique ways.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?
You just asked me a question that I asked myself many times. The answer is definitely “Glòsòli” by Sigur Ros, but you can put their entire discography at my funeral, don’t worry.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?
Uncle Scrooge is my hero, the reason is really complex and the character itself is way more complex that most of us think. Carl Barks created the character, Don Rosa gave him a full life, a life made of tears, happiness, guilt, deep sadness and a missed love. Uncle Scrooge is who I would like to be, because he’s not greedy as most people think: he doesnt want to give away money because every single penny tells a story and brings him back memories of the past.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
No one, I try to live my life taking into accounts just my errors and my successes.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?
“The Fountain” by Darren Aronofsky, see it then live your life and at the very end die in peace.
What role plays art in my life and work?
I’m an artist, not much to say about this, art is what defines me. Pity that business sometimes takes art by the ears trying to leave me alone with mere numbers and planning.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
My mother, as an Italian this should be the standard.
Whom would I like to work with in 2019?
Some of the old colleagues, they really were something. Who knows, maybe it will happen…
Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2019?
No one, I have too many things to do to travel around meeting people. Pitiful maybe but it’s the truth.
What project, in 2019, am I looking forward to work on?
Our own projects if it’s god’s will, but I cannot talk about them of course.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?
It means that if you really like something you cant stop doing it after retiring it. Sometimes even just thinking about it it’s enough, stimulating your brain cells.
Which creative heroes should Peter invite to tell their story?
Lubos De Gerardo Surzin, Samat Algozhin or Matthew Esterhuizen, old colleague of mine with incredible stories to tell. Probably even better stories than mine, who knows.
