What is the best thing that I love about my work? I love the fact that the craftmanship in my works is so evident and of such a quality. At the same time it possesses a strong conceptual basis, that is resulting from historical research and formalistic composition.That makes my work unique, highly aesthetic and deeply meaningful.

What is my idea of happiness? ︎My idea of happiness is to be with my beloved partner and to be creative, in other words to have more and more time for my art. At this moment I am blessed with both and that makes me happy and grateful. 

What is my greatest fear? That my left hand which I use for drawing, gets paralysed. 

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? ︎Being too judgemental to myself.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?I admire them all and I hope they admire me too.

What is my greatest extravagance? Though I live modestly, I like to travel with great comfort. 

On what occasion would I lie? ︎To give hope when there is no hope.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? That people sometimes see only the well crafted surface and it’s me to blame because they are so well executed. 

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? ︎Everyday passing I am getting happier as my skills are getting  better.

If I could, what would I change about myself? I would like to have deep blue-gray eyes and bigger muscles without training and anabolics.

What is my greatest achievement in work? That I stayed true to myself 

Where would I most like to live? ︎I already live where I like, in Amsterdam Netherlands and I have plans  to create my other atelier in Crete Greece, so I will be complete. 

What is my most treasured possession? My works, my atelier in Amsterdam, my talent.

What is my most marked characteristic? That I’m an extroverted introvert.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?︎ My atelier.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? ︎In my atelier.

What books influenced my life and how? “The book of disquiet ” by Fernardo Pessoa. The genius  hidden behind the common clerk, throughout his whole life. “Atlas of Anatomy” by Sobotta, and numerous catalogues of artists and artistic movements for giving me such a great  inspiration. 

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?︎ Some of my best minimal techno dj’sets

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? ︎Dante Alighieri, as depicted in his masterpiece “The divine comedy”

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Everyone that selflessly offers him-herself to help another. 

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? “Dancer in the dark” by Lars von Trier 

What role plays art in my life and work? Art is my work and together with my partner, the two most meaningful things in my life.

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? They mean everything. That I achieved to define my destiny and write my own story.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? All the people that own my works, are great fans and sponsor me by buying my works, so I keep on creating. My partner in life though, is the one that literally stands with me all the time and completes me as an artistic being.
