What is the best thing that I love about my work? The best thing i love about filmmaking is the ability to tell stories that resonates with individuals in respective of their diversity in religion, beliefs and culture. The joy of bringing characters to life and turning these scripted characters into screen icons is something that makes me super excited about this career path.

What is my idea of happiness? Happiness for me is having Peace of mind at all times regardless of whatever circumstances i find myself.

What is my greatest fear? Living a mediocre life.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? (Laughs) I think i OVERTHINK things. This has to be my most deplored trait.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? James Cameron

What is my greatest extravagance? This has to be shoes(laughs). I love shoes.

On what occasion would I lie? oh wow! I think when it has to do with the life and death situation of a loved one, i could lie( laughs).

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Scouting and getting Investors for a project in this part of the world i live in(Africa). Especially for independent filmmakers. Basically no one wants to trust a budding filmmaker with funds to tell their stories.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? This is quite easy. It definitely has to be in the year 2022 when my first feature(koi koi the myth) got a nomination in the AFRICA MOVIE ACADEMY AWARDS for Visual effects. Seeing my film compete with STUDIO FILMS from all over AFRICA and even getting recognised was just AMAZING.

If I could, what would I change about myself? Hmmm. Nothing actually. I think my challenges and shortcomings in the past have made me the best version of myself there is.

What is my greatest achievement in work? Winning the best director AFRICA at the TORONTO INTERNATIONAL NOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL 2022.

Where would I most like to live? Lagos state, Nigeria.

What is my most treasured possession? My laptop i guess(laughs)

What is my most marked characteristic? I think my penchant for excellence.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? Freedom park In Lagos. Visiting such an historical place where slaves where once kept just makes it inspiring.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? This has to be KILIMANJARO. I love their special Basmati rice.

What books influenced my life and how? Gifted hands by Ben Carson. This book basically made me believe that if i could imagine a thing and work towards it, then i can achieve it. This has been my mantra.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Barber of seville.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? The Joker i guess(laughs)

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Doctors and nurses who risked their lives everyday during the COVID-19 PANDEMIC. Those are the real heroes that DON’T wear CAPES.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? I can easily mention 25(laughs), but I’ll stick to one and it has to be SHUTTER ISLAND directed by the great Martin Scorsese.

What role play stories in my life and work? If i understand this well, Stories play vital role in everything i do . I love stories and i think it is the live wire of the world itself.

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? i guess it means you are the only one that is in charge of if you will fail or succeed in life.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? Greatest fan has to be my baby.

Greatest sponsors are my parents.

Then my partner in crime or creativity(as i like to call it) has to be EMMANUEL OGHIEAGA (EMMY PHENOM).
