What is the best thing that I love about my work?

Connecting with awesome people, listen to their stories, be inspired and capture their creative storytelling portraits.

What is my idea of happiness?

A perfect balance of passion, family and creative adventure

What is my greatest fear?

My greatest fear is that I have no control in certain things in life, for example health.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? 

I am forgetful, cant remember numbers and have trouble concentrating. My span of attention is very short.

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? 

Too many to mention. From different walks of life, different countries, people I crossed paths with, people that I am inspired by, for example, cancer survivors, people that have gone through hard times and people who are successful that started from the bottom.

What is my greatest extravagance?

I don’t think I have any greatest extravagance. 

On what occasion would I lie?

About I am doing ok, when I am not. Not to burden people with my pain and challenge and still give a positive vibe regardless of my struggle.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? 

Managing the administrative and accounting part which I have outsourced most of it and the part where I get limited creative freedom for my work.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? 

When I travel, meet and connect with amazing people, get inspired by their life stories and capture their stories artistically.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

To not be a foodie. I need to have a stronger mindset to control my love for food. 

What is my greatest achievement in work? 

Never satisfied with my work, dont see any great achievement yet. Still work in progress.

Where would I most like to live?

I am living in my favourite place. A small remote city in Western Australia.

What is my most treasured possession?

My camera, my laptop and my phone. My tools of trade.

What is my most marked characteristic?

I guess, my resilience and always try to find ways to see the positive side of things even when bad things happened. I believe everything happens for a reason, and I will connect the dots for the why later.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? 

By the beach, just 10 mins away.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

At home.

What books influenced my life and how? 

Too many to mention, not one in particular. I seldom finish reading any books, I get some good points and move on. Mostly about motivation, inspiring stories. Non fiction.

What music would I listen on my last day?

Some motivational video on YouTube with pumping music to give me the energy to feel immortal. Perhaps for some workout inspired music with motivational speaker in the background.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Dont have any.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? 

Too many to mention, people I crossed paths with randomly sometimes and best friends who have supported me through thick and thin.

Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? 

About Time.

What role play stories in my life and work?

Hm..cant think of any for at the moment.

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? 

You control your adventure, your story and your future as much as you can. And if you cant, try your best, let go and let god.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? 

No one person in particular, but a combination of many people for one role.

Which people or companies would I like to work with?

My dream is to work with remarkable companies that does the most creative projects such as the people who manage the Pirelli Calendar, Lavazza Calendar, Amazon, Ogilvy, Tesla or any company that gives me the full creative freedom with a big budget.

What project am I looking forward to work on? 

My own project, www.yewread.co and hopefully it will get published when its ready.
