“I bank at a women’s bank. It’s closed three or four days a week due to cramps” – Judy Carter
Remember in the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life’ when George Bailey was an advocate for the customer? He went to war with the evil Mr Potter to keep him from taking over. Well, there aren’t any George Baileys left in the banking world, and the mergers with the evil Mr. Potter have instituted long lines at the callcenter, fewer services and insane fees. But wait, you say, the movie has to have a happy ending. Doesn’t Clarence get his wings? Uh, no. He missed his deadline by one day, so the bank closed his account and took the wings as a penalty for trying to talk to a teller one too many times. What about all the money the town raised to save George from bankruptcy? Gone. “B……. b……but that’s not right”. Tell me about it.
