The Hero’s Journey of Andrew Bassano Brewer

What is the best thing that I love about my work?

As a psychic, I have the opportunity to connect with people in very intimate ways; we talk about what makes them “tick”, where they want to “go” and also look, together, at what might be in the way of getting there. It is really kind of an amazing life . . . certainly an amazing “job” !!

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

I love to explore — visiting a new city, jumping knee deep into a used book store, meeting new people, discovering new things. I like to learn and I like to travel and I like to hang around fun, creative, joyful people. Bliss, yes.

What is my greatest fear?

To be “ordinary” 🙂

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I put things off and don’t always focus as I (ideally) should. Also, I fight (and sometimes lose) an ongoing “battle” with Depression. It comes, sometimes, unannounced.

What is my greatest extravagance?

Books

On what occasion would I lie?

I try to be as truthful as I possibly can be — but I don’t always say all that I “see” 🙂

What is the influence of role models, in my work and in my life?

I have been blessed in having many important mentors “show up” in my life. The most important is Nikki Giovanni, the poet . . . I also was fortunate to meet Sanaya Roman when I was a young man and she helped me quite a bit in making “sense” of what was happening to me as the “psychic thing” was just really kicking in !!

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Sometimes it is “complicated” when you meet people, not knowing if they will be totally “down” with what I do, Not everyone believes in, nor accepts, psychics or the things I write about most — like reincarnation, for example. So that is the biggest hurdle — not the work itself, but telling people “what I do” !!

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

I love to give classes and workshops — so much FUN 🙂

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I wish my hair would come back 🙂

What is my greatest achievement in work?

I have carved out a pretty interesting career; been on radio thousands of times, been on TV, been a film actor in Hollywood, been listed in different books and magazines as “One of the Top 100 Psychics in the World”. I’ve written books and talked to (and hopefully helped) thousands of people.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

I am sort of a gypsy and spend part of the year in different cities — last year I lived in Nashville, New York City, and my birth home, Hamilton, Ohio. My favorite place on that list would be mid-town Manhattan . . . MAGIC !!

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

Actually, I like McDonald’s. There is one next door and I go there for breakfast, have a sausage mcmuffin, and play on my laptop. In fact, I am filling this out at McDonald’s. In New York, my favorite restaurant is Tao’s, an amazing place with a GIANT Buddha. In Nashville, I end up a lot at Five Points Pizza in East Nashville.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

Wow; I have a lot. I am blessed with many friends and followers. My Facebook page is always ROCKN 🙂 !!

Whom would I like to work with in the future?

I love to meet new people and am always looking forward to new projects and/or going new places.

What project, in the nearby future, am I looking forward to work on?

A book on my journey of discovery trying to “understand” . . . PAST LIVES. My book is tentatively called “Karmic Outlaw”.
