What is the best thing that I love about my work?

The freeing and versatile nature of my work makes me feel alive.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

A peaceful and unprejudiced world, where one can live outside the box, oh dance and chocolate too!

What is my greatest fear?

Not being good enough

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I don’t deplore anything about myself. I may have a few issues I need to look at though.

What is my greatest extravagance?

Buying snacks on the run!

On what occasion would I lie?

I am an Angel …

What is the influence of role models, in my work and in my life?

Role models have been like guardian angels, appearing at different chapters in my life; offering me guidance when I am at a crossroads. They come in all guises and remind me to belief in myself, which in turn makes my working life better.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

It’s unpredictability, which is also why I love it, but as a freelance dance artist sometimes the work doesn’t always line up!

If I could, what would I change about myself?

To be a little less impatient

What is my greatest achievement in work?

Connecting to people, either through my performing or choreography, and helping people becoming aware of their physicality and spirit through my teaching.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

Southbank in central London. It’s an artist’s place for inspiration; it’s by the river and visited by many.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

‘Taro’, Soho, London…A great Japanese restaurant, which offers quick and friendly service, and good food at an affordable price!

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

Michael Scott-Harding, singer, musician, playwright and critic

Whom would I like to work with in the future?

For Sadlers Wells, London, either as a performer or choreographer

What project, in the nearby future, am I looking forward to work on?

A project based on the Black Lives Matter issue, hopefully starting in September, fusing dance and spoken word.
