What is the best thing that I love about my work? The best thing I love about my work is to get lost in the project I’m workin’ in. It happens every time and I feel extremely lucky!

What is my idea of perfect happiness? Perfect happiness…I get close to this feeling in some of my special places where my hand isn’t forced by the commissioned work, and painting and sketches, come out fluently.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Well, stepping as illustrator for a magazine I was huge fan as kid (Linus).

What is my greatest achievement in work? The best is always yet to come, but recently I’ve been accepted as member by the Society of Illustrators ….to me, this is beating all the achievements I had in my career.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? Tough question…I live in Milan, but my favourite sketching places are in Mexico City: the quarter of Coyoacan plays a music that I can’t resist.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? In Milan I just love “Starita” a neapolitan pizzeria . Talkin’ about drinkin’, La belle Aurore, is the place I love best

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? Miki, my wife and best friend, no doubt. We met in art school long time ago. She always supported ( and tolerated) me. A real partner in crime. Respect.

Whom would I like to work with in the future? Illustrate Pino Cacucci’s “Puerto Escondido” novel. Illustrate an Hunter Thompson’s article…I believe this is not goin’ to happen ( the genius passed away few years ago).

What project, in the nearby future, am I looking forward to work on? I do love travels and, I’m workin’ on a serie of carnets de voyage… maybe an exposition.
