What is the best thing that I love about my work? E’ il lavoro che ho scelto, quello che amo di più è trovarmi tutti i giorni a provare ad essere creativo in modo differente rispetto al giorno prima. It’s the job that I chose, the thing I love the most is to try to be creative every day, in a different way.

What is my idea of perfect happiness? Una discesa in neve fresca con gli sci, banale? A downhill on my skis with fresh snow, corny?

What is my greatest fear? Perdere la mia autonomia fisica e dover dipendere dagli altri. Loosing my physical self-sufficiency and having to depend on others.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Non sono un tipo particolarmente empatico. I’m not particularly empathic.

What is my greatest extravagance? Non sono una persona stravagante, però mi piacerebbe esserlo! I’m not an extravagant person, but I would love to be one!

On what occasion would I lie? Vicino ai 50 anni posso permettermi di dire quello che penso, mentire è faticoso, lo farei per difendere la mia famiglia e le persone che amo. Near my fifties I can allow myself to say what I think, lying is hard, I would do it only to defend my family and the people that I love.

What is the influence of role models, in my work and in my life? Parafrasando l’appena scomparso Zygmunt Bauman in una società ‘liquida’ i modelli sono estremamente veloci e non categorizzabili. Preferisco costruirmi i miei. Paraphrasing the late Zygmunt Bauman, in a liquid society, the models are extremely fast and they can’t be labelled. I prefer to build my own.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Quando diventa ripetitivo, una cosa fatta va subito dimenticata per pensarne una nuova. When I become repetitive, when you finish something, you should forget about it immediately and think at something new.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Quando sono nel mio studio e riesco a produrre esattamente quello che ho immaginato! When I’m in my studio and I can create exactly what I imagined

If I could, what would I change about myself? Non ci ho mai pensato. Never thought about it.

What is my greatest achievement in work? Passare di insuccesso in insuccesso con il sorriso sulle labbra. Pass from failure to failure with a smile on my face.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? La mia città (Modena) ha 1000 luoghi di ispirazione, ognuno in modo diverso. My city (Modena) has 1000 inspirational places, every one in a different way.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? Sono tanti, ma se devo dare una preferenza diciamo che prendo sempre volentieri un bicchiere di vino dalla Marina di Archer. They are many, but if I must choose one, let’s say that I’m always happy to get a glass of wine at Marina’s Archer.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? Non ne ho proprio idea ma spero molti. I don’t know, but I hope they are many.

Whom would I like to work with in the future? Mi piacerebbe fotografare con lo stile di Kitchensuspension i grandi chef nazionali ed internazionali. I would love to photograph with Kitchensuspension’s style, great national and international Chefs.

What project, in the nearby future, am I looking forward to work on? Portare il mio progetto Kitchensuspension fuori dal mio studio in giro per il mondo. Take my project Kitchensuspension outside my studio, all around the world.
