What is the best thing that I love about my work?
Being an artist is cool, managing your time and all that jazz… but sometimes I wonder how is to work in an office, I never did it
What is my idea of perfect happiness?
I am happy with very simple things, a nice meal, a good time with people I love, being home with family and things like that. I feel always happy after a day of productive work
What is my greatest fear?
Getting old alone and in need of help
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
I am a little lazy (italian style) and I’d like to be able to dare more sometimes

My heroes are all dead…. I haven’t found new ones in the current days

I am not really an extravagant person, but I am remembered and recognized for things I do in my work

To not hurt someone

The business around the creative part
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
When digital photography wasn’t arrived yet and photograhy was still an art of a cultured elite and I was really part of it.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
Pretty much happy but hey, who wouldn’t like to be beautiful, more smart and all these things?
What is my greatest achievement in work?
Years ago I would have said to have reached and being choosen by the most important magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar (which I have worked for both), but now I feel my mind kinda opened and I am always trying to explore new fields such as motion pictures, illustration and many more.
What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me?
To not worry about working and having the time (the most precious thing) to study and learn only what I like
Where would I most like to live?
I feel good in LA but sometimes I’d like to go back to Italy as well
What is my most treasured possession?
I don’t really have a material thing I am attached, I would say maybe my sketchbooks or paintings
What is my most marked characteristic?
People think I am charming, and I am obviously flattered about that!
What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
I like working on my stuff in the coffee shops like in the best LA tradition
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?
Frank and Musso Grill, a typical Old Hollywood restaurant
What books influenced my life and how?
“The Master and Margarita” of Michael Bulgakov, for the visionary aesthetic, “Dance Dance Dance” by Murakami Haruki, for the same and I would add “Coldheart Canyon” an old hollywood noir ghost story… maybe one of the books who pushed my moving to LA
Who are my favorite writers?
I really like many different sci-fi writers such as Clive Barker, Dan Simmons, Ursula Le Guin, they all have a strong power in descritions and surreal landscapes and situations.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?
Italian music of the late 80’s and early 90’s, maybe Milva “A cosa pensi”
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?
Flash Gordon
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
Company owners who give people a real job finding what they are good in doing.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?
“Mulholland Drive” by David Lynch and “Don’t torture a duckling” by Lucio Fulci
What role plays art in my life and work?
I have always been in contact with art, from my studies at university until now and it is always present in everything I do… some people told me my movies look like living paintings and it’s actually my goal, while I take inspiration from the old maestri of the painting to create my photo images….
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
I don’t know, I get support from all my friends and I am grateful for that
Whom would I like to work with in 2017?
With a clothing company as designer and with a great magazine as illustrator. I have done enough with photography. Maybe directing another feature film as well!
Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2017?
Less creative and more business oriented people! It’s what I need 🙂
What project, in 2017, am I looking forward to work on?
I look forward to grow up as fashion illustrator and to move my step into the fashion design with a clothing collection

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?
I find hard to keep my passions alive, I get bored very easily and I have to work hard to not loose the inspiration
