I am the co-owner of an art gallery. Art is my life. Talking to artists and organizing exhibitions together are the most interesting parts of my job.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

La vida está llena de buenos momentos: pasarlo bien con mis amigos, pasar tiempo con mi familia, viajar, contemplar un bello paisaje, disfrutar del sol, saborear una deliciosa comida o dormir la siesta.

Life is full of beautiful moments: having fun with my friends, spending time with my family, travelling, looking at a beautiful landscape, enjoying the nice weather, eating a delicious meal or having a nap in the afternoons.

What is my greatest fear?

Perder la curiosidad por las cosas.

On what occasion would I lie?

Nunca mentiría. Mi madre me enseñó que decir siempre toda la verdad no es necesario a veces si no quieres herir los sentimientos de las personas.

I would never lie. My mother taught me that telling all the truth all the time is sometimes unnecessary if you do not want to hurt people’s feelings.

El trabajo administrativo. Es muy aburrido.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

Durante la inauguración de la última exposición por ejemplo, la galería estaba llena de gente, el artista explicaba anécdotas divertidas acerca de su vida y su trabajo. Veía como los clientes disfrutaban de ese momento.

During the opening of the last exhibition, the art gallery was crowded, the artist was telling funny stories about his life and his job. I enjoyed seeing the clients having fun.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

Me gustaría tener más tiempo para mí. Mi trabajo ocupa casi todas mis horas libres.

I would like to have more time for myself. My job takes up most of my time.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

Haber mantenido abierta una galería de arte en una ciudad de 40.000 habitantes durante 25 años y seguir teniendo clientes fieles, creo que ya es todo un éxito. Seguir con mi negocio 25 años más como mínimo es todo un reto.

Keeping an art gallery open in a city of 40,000 inhabitants for 25 years and having faithful clients, I think it is a great achievement. Keeping my business for 25 more years will be a great challenge.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

Sentarme en un banco y contemplar el mar y el movimiento de las olas.

Me encanta la comida creativa del restaurante “Sa Lola” y del “1834”, hacen cocina de autor.

Mi familia y mis amigos son mi soporte. Yo pienso que nada sería posible sin su ayuda.

Participar en ferias de arte internacionales, trabajar con artistas más interesantes y ampliar nuestra cartera de clientes.
