What is my idea of perfect happiness?
Being at peace with myself would be my idea of perfect happiness.

What is my greatest fear?
Failure at being an artist is my greatest fear.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
I don’t like that I procrastinate sometimes and that I second guess myself too much.

James Siena, Thomas Nozkowski and Yayoi Kusama

What is my greatest extravagance?
Hands down Chocolate. I cannot live without it

On what occasion would I lie?
Actually, I’m a very truthful person but I would lie to spare someone’s feelings if I knew something would devastate them.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
I do not like that it takes me forever to execute my work. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a very patient person.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
I’m the happiest in my work when I am in a meditative state painting my Cosmos pieces.

If I could, what would I change about myself?
I would rid myself of endogenous depression.

What is my greatest achievement in work?
When I finish a piece that alludes to a new series. I get very excited and start thinking of ways to expand upon it.

What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me?
The ability to make my work without the constraints of money.

Where would I most like to live?
New York is where I live and I want to live.

What is my most treasured possession?
My alter at home. It’s made up of things that I’ve found or that people have given me. It means a lot to me.

What is my most marked characteristic?
I have a scar on my right cheek caused by radiation treatments due to gum cancer in 2001.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
The Potato Famine Memorial in the Financial District is the most inspirational in all the city to me. It’s peaceful and fulfilling and is so antithetical to its location.
