What is the best thing that I love about my work? Basically, the fact that i leave a permanent mark on a person’s skin to “wear” for the rest of his life. The ability to express my artistic vision in this art form on a living, breathing canvas, presents me a unique set of challenges on a daily bases and thus, gives me tremendous satisfaction that comes from the process of facing them.

What is my idea of perfect happiness? Self accomplishment – the ability of doing what’s right for you with minimum distractions or compromises.

What is my greatest fear? terminal illness. (or getting bored).

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I can be antisocial at times and when i am, it makes me look like a kind of a stuck-up asswhole. It can be particularly unpleasant when dealing with clients, employees, wife…

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Tattoo artists: Filip Lue, Horiyoshi III, Ichibay. My mom.

What is my greatest extravagance? Art books, traveling, gadgets.

On what occasion would I lie It’s a tricky one but, i guess, protecting someone dear and close to me – only in such cases when the truth will definitely do more harm than good.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Creating a nice tattoo piece on a client and then watch him “taking” it with him instead of hanging it on the wall…

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Tattooing on a client when we are the only ones left at the shop with some nice tunes at the background to work with.

If I could, what would I change about myself? Be more patient with people.

What is my greatest achievement in work? Owning my own tattoo shop and keeping it live and kicking!

What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me? On a personal level it could mean that running a successful business allowing me to be more relaxed when i’m trying to develop my artistic skills. On a business level, it could mean that having a solid financial stability is allowing me to take more creatively business risks and decisions in order to be more profitable.

Where would I most like to live? Surrounded by nature if possible or in a penthouse.

What is my most treasured possession? My motorbike.

What is my most marked characteristic? Perfectionist.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? The beach.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? Habarbanel pizzeria – simple and tasty pizzas near my apartment.

What books influenced my life and how? Last book i read was a really long time ago: Shōgun – being a book that deals with an important old period of Japan’s history, provided me a better understanding of their art – which is by far, my favorite tattoo and drawing style.

Who are my favorite writers? No one in particular. Not really into books this days.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Easy. full albums in the following order: 1.The Gathering-Always, 2. Anathema-Serenades, 3.TiamatClouds.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Butch – pulp fiction.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? Pulp Fiction.

What role plays art in my life and work? A main role. It what makes my life fulfilling.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My wife (who is also a tattoo artist).
