What is the best thing that I love about my work?

I love to help the people I work for. I used to work in big companies where everything is a “task”, a “percentage”, a “meeting” but the goal was always a milestone or a release. Working with the end customers means that you can see what you’re doing for them and you can grow with them. Also I love to have the freedom to choose the projects I’ll be working on.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

To be free and have nothing to hide.

What is my greatest fear?

My biggest fear it to lose my freedom.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I’m not very patient and I don’t like to compromise. When I believe that something could work i go straight to the point but maybe sometimes I should listen more to the others.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?

In my profession as in others’ I admire people that have the courage to change and follow their passion. If you believe in something, you have to put passion in it and you’ll be successful in the end.

What is my greatest extravagance?

Travel. Whenever I can I like to travel, also for work. Visit new places, people, culture is very important to me.

On what occasion would I lie?

I don’t like to lie. The truth always comes out in the end.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

I don’t like to work with arrogant people or people that don’t have any respect of others. Whenever it happens I always tend to avoid this kind of people.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

I was very happy lately when one of my pictures was featured on the National Geographic website but in general I’m always very happy when some of my customers appreciate my work and when I see I can help them in achieving their goals.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I’d like to be less lazy sometimes.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

As I said my greatest achievement is when somebody genuinely appreciate my work. There I see that I’m doing right and it keeps me motivated to go ahead on my path.

What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me?

Those words are very important to me. When you have the financial freedom to create, you can really produce something original and you can genuinely express yourself.

Where would I most like to live?

I like the place I’ve chosen to live in: Dublin. If only the weather was a bit better.

What is my most treasured possession?

The love of my wife.

What is my most marked characteristic?

I’ve no hair that’s what everybody says 🙂

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

I love Grand Canal here in Dublin. It’s the place where I’ve taken a lot of pictures and the place where I go when I want to walk and think. Also from there I love to go to Sandymount beach and the Poolbeg lighthouse.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

I think it’s Herbstreet a restaurant in Grand Canal square which is a few minutes away from my home.

What books influenced my life and how?

I’ve been influenced by a few books written by the Dalai Lama. I’m not buddhist but I really like that way of life. Unfortunately I’m still far away from the Nirvana.

Who are my favorite writers?

I’ve read a lot of books written by Michael Freeman. Then I’ve read a lot of books about photography and programming languages so I’d say many authors.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Spiderman is always been present in my whole life so I guess he is my hero.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

My parents.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?

I love movies and there are various that I really like but the first that comes in my mind is always The Untouchables.

What role plays art in my life and work?

Art is very important. I’m an IT consultant but also a fine art photographer so I literally study art almost every day. Also art amazes me. If I like a song, a picture, a paint I become very emotional.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

Definitely my wife. She supports me every time and we work together on various projects.

Whom would I like to work with in 2017?

Still my wife? I must say that can you imagine? 🙂

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2017?

Everybody with a passion for the job. It’s always nice to meet someone who shares your same genuine interests.

What project, in 2017, am I looking forward to work on?

I’d like to work on a project that could feature my photographing work. I’ve a big passion for photography so that will be a great achievement for me.
