What is the best thing that I love about my work? Curiosity. Curiosity is my necessary polar star; my guide is an insatiable hunger for research and continuous knowledge.

What is my idea of perfect happiness? Happiness is a path. I believe happiness is the ability to dream, to look beyond. And this can be built day by day but sometimes it suddenly appears, for instance seeing a sunset or your partner smiling…

What is my greatest fear? My greatest fear is the oblivion. I fear I won’t make an impact, I fear I won’t leave my immortal mark, I fear I won’t leave a better world to the next generation.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? My insecurity. Sometimes I would like to step out of my comfort zone.

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? I admire economists that look at economy and finance not as a religion. I admire pluralist economists: they recognize that No discipline is an island An example is Prof. Robert Shiller, Nobel laureate. “Finance is not a purpose in itself, it is a tool

What is my greatest extravagance? I do not have particular extravagances. Sometimes I exaggerate with Instagram stories (according to my friends).

On what occasion would I lie? I would lie with my friends, parents or partner in order to make not them suffer.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Time. Tempus nostrum est, omnia aliena sunt” Seneca dixit. However, time seems to be my worst enemy.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Every time I have a new idea. Ideas are my fuel, ideas are my energy.

If I could, what would I change about myself? My insecurity, that is the incapacity to exit my comfort zone.

What is my greatest achievement in work? Other people and colleagues’ esteem and respect.

What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me? It represents the possibility to create things, to do things, to enjoy life. And life costs.

Where would I most like to live? I would like to live in Rome or Naples. Rome is aeterna, Naples is home.

What is my most treasured possession? My notes. My articles. They are my mark. Verba volant, scripta manent. Writing makes me free

What is my most marked characteristic? I am curious and eager to learn new things.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? The Aqueduct of Vanvitelli. I always thought this heritage site represents the immortality. Vanvitelli left in this way his eternal mark. I would like to leave my one.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? At home. My preferred chef will remain my mother.

What books influenced my life and how? Capitalismo parassitario(Zygmunt Bauman) and “The entrepreneurial state” (Mariana Mazzucato). They have led me to rethink about everything. We have to rethink of economics, finance, modernity, ourselves.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? I would like to listen Enzo Avitabile and his brotherhood message.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? My parents.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? The Pursuit of Happiness, with Will Smith, and Forrest Gump, with Tom Hanks.

What role plays art in my life and work? Art is a form of freedom. Art is necessary.
