What is the best thing that I love about my work?  My students!!! I teach in my studio in Amsterdam individual students, walking with each student in his own path. Even if I won millions I would never stop teaching. My students are my best teachers and we help one each other to develop further.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? Being free to dedicate my life to my work , helping and having animals around me.
What is my greatest fear?  Pain and sickness, especially the kind that would stop me from doing my work.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?  I have the tendency to get angry too quickly, I wish I would sometimes remember to take 3 breaths before it happens.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Peter Doig, Gerhard Richter, Anselm Kiefer, Daniel Richter
What is my greatest extravagance?  I have a great passion for classical music and opera and I can spend days reading, listening and watching documentaries about it.
On what occasion would I lie?  To help or protect other people.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The material itself , fixatif, tempertijn, pigments, all are very bad for the environment and health.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?  When I make a new discovery or make changes in my way of working.
If I could, what would I change about myself?  I prefer to stay as I am and learn how to deal with myself rather than making changes.
What is my greatest achievement in work?  My large charcoal drawings.
What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me? Relief , happiness and a great artistic freedom
Where would I most like to live? An isolated villa somewhere in Italy would be perfect.
What is my most treasured possession? An oil painting giving to my grandparents by the artist Zvi Milshtein, he was an holocaust survivor and when he arrived to Israel after the war my grandparents helped him out and gave him a place to stay. In return he gave them a few works. Later he traveled to Paris and disappeared.This painting portrait of a drunk man intrigued me as a kid  and opened a window for a dark and mysterious world.     
What is my most marked characteristic? My dedication and passion for my work and for the people and animals I love.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? In WOW Amsterdam where my studio is located- it is a home for many artists, creators, musicians and designers.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? I recently moved back to Amsterdam after living for 10 years in the South of Holland, therefore I am still discovering the city. I appreciate coffees and restaurants which serve delicious vegan dishes.
What books influenced my life and how? Recently I read the books of Prof Yuval Noah Harari, although he is an historian the way he chose to discuss history is very philosophical. In the 19 century Nietzsche announced that god is dead, today Harari tells us that the idea of nationalities is dead.  
Who are my favorite writers? Yeshayahu Leibowitz, Jerzy Kosiński, Oscar Wilde
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Richard Wagner Parsifal
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Orpheus
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Barak Cohen is an Israeli activist, he fights to create a democracy in Israel and an equal society. I admire his dedication and his motivation regardless of the personal price he is paying for his activities.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom, director- Pier Paolo Pasolini
What role plays art in my life and work? Drawing is my most natural way of communicating and expressing myself, it is not my work but my reason to live.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?  Uri Geller
Whom would I like to work with in 2017?  I have a dream to design a set for one of my favorite operas, I would be delighted to work with the Dutch opera house.
Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2017? William Kentridge
What project, in 2017, am I looking forward to work on? I am working on a new large drawing, it is the second largest work I have ever made.
