What is the best thing that I love about my work? that there is no do-er. It all gets done by pure being – the inner nature.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? not to do. Stay in the flow with some higher intelligence, which is the do-er of everything.

On what occasion would I lie? not to hurt someone in his finer feelings
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? that I don’t have the craft of rembrandt
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? when the I vanishes and there is no do-er, no do-ing, nothing that has to be done and everything is going its way, which comes from the inner self.
If I could, what would I change about myself? everything in creation is perfect as it is
What is my greatest achievement in work? that I don’t want to achieve anything
What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me? Financial freedom has nothing to do with creating. One has to create in all situations, otherwise one is not an artist.
Where would I most like to live? where Iam – otherwise I would be somewhere else
What is my most treasured possession? I don’t possess anything but I love many things

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? a cup of coffee in the One-World-Shop in Traben-Trarbach
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? at home or 15 km from my home the Indian restaurant
What books influenced my life and how? There are so many : Hermann Hesse when I was 16. Peter Handke when I was 20. Dostojewski, Czechow and Bulgakow when I was thirty. Bagavad Gita and Upanishads when I was so much older then when I was young. 😉
Who are my favorite writers? Celan, Rilke, Shakespeare, Goethe, Nietsche, Williams, Pessoa, Jimenez
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? I died many times and will do so. I would like to listen to my son Jakob playing Skrjabin on the piano for me.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? No more heroes anymore
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Maharishi, Shri Aurobindo, die Mutter, Amma, my wife, my sons, my friends

What role plays art in my life and work? I am an artist. So everything is art in my doing and thinking. There is no separation between life and art.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My family and my friends and…there are already some well-known collectors.

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2017? I would prefer to meet people in other professions like scientists, cooks, restaurators, writer, musicians
What project, in 2017, am I looking forward to work on? my next exhibition…maybe in Düsseldorf

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? truth. There are painters who worked with 90 and still did their best
