What is the best thing that I love about my work? The possibility of transforming spaces through illustrations is something that fascinates me. I get excited about the idea of participating in projects where my art can add value, whether it’s on a coffee cup or book covers. If people, when they look at my illustrations, think, “That’s a cool drawing! I want to take this home” or “Let me take a photo of this” or even “Wow, who made this for me?” then I feel like my mission has been fulfilled in the most important aspect of all: bringing joy to people. That’s what I love about my work.

What is my idea of happiness? I’m not quite sure how to answer that. I believe happiness is not something we can have absolutely in our lives, but we certainly can experience happy moments. It’s important to keep our hearts open so that we can clearly perceive these moments and fully enjoy them while they last
What is my greatest fear? For a long time, I neglected my desire to work with illustration. For many years, I
worked in something I didn’t enjoy, and it wasn’t the job’s fault itself, but rather my lack of action towards life and what I truly wanted. When I came across a video of actor Jim Carrey on YouTube, where he said something like: “You can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.” Those words and other experiences made me reflect more on things.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I believe the trait that I most deplore in myself is waiting for everything to be perfect before starting something. I realized that the best things I’ve ever done were not entirely calculated, and it shows me the importance of taking action, risking, and making things happen.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? I have admiration for the work of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. The things they create and how they create them remind me of humanity, where humans craft stories in an honest, serious, and truthful way to connect people. Obviously, there are
hundreds of other artists I admire, but they also possess similar characteristics.
What is my greatest extravagance? I believe my greatest extravagance is still setting very high expectations for many things, and I need to learn to manage that in a more responsible way.
On what occasion would I lie? I believe I would lie if someone invited me to participate in a project with which I disagree with the idea. I would probably make up some excuse not to participate. It would be a small lie to avoid upsetting the person. Obviously, everything depends on the context, but I believe there are moments when being 100% honest can deeply hurt people, so it’s necessary to evaluate each situation before making a decision. Funny, as I write these lines, I remember the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People.”

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? My work hasn’t gained a unique identity yet, and this variation it has is something that bothers me a little. I would like to have a more defined style.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? When I finally decided to gather the courage and do what I love. It took a while to take that step, but when I did, it was liberating. Despite feeling afraid of the unknown, I remember being very happy that day.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I would like to take more risks, act without so much fear of things going wrong, simply live and not hide, saving life. It would be like letting the cup overflow. I must say that I am working on this aspect, seeking the courage to face challenges and turn this desire into concrete actions.
What is my greatest achievement in work? Without a doubt, it has been getting to know people, making friends, and establishing new partnerships with other artists.
Where would I most like to live? There are places with characteristics that are inspiring to me. Imagine being able to open the window and smell the aroma of a coffee shop, look to the right and see buildings with beautiful architecture, along with bookstores and artistic spaces. All of this, with a dynamic commercial atmosphere where everyone collaborates and helps each other. A place with these characteristics would be the ideal location for me to live; the city or country are just details.
What is my most treasured possession? I cannot think of anything other than life itself.
What is my most marked characteristic? I believe my most marked characteristic is my commitment to the projects I participate in. I get excited about it, not only for the financial aspect but also because I get to see people working on something good, each contributing according to their abilities.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? If you visit Porto Alegre, don’t miss out on the Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, a cultural space with various activities. It’s a place that warms the heart and inspires new creations. And since I recommended the place, don’t forget to invite me for a cup of coffee 🙂
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? There are some cozy places I like to go in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. I’ll highlight the ForCaffe café, located in the city center; it’s a place with good food and a beautiful setting. If you go there, give me a call! 😛
What books influenced my life and how? The Bible, a living and dynamic book, which reveals the word of God and His infinite love.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? “Bring Him Home” – Colm Wilkinson.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? I wouldn’t exactly call him a “hero,” but I really enjoy the personality of The Mask, played by Jim Carrey. This character is known for his fun nature and ability to solve problems in a creative and unique way, which makes him captivating and inspiring.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Jesus Christ, and my parents.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? A film/musical that impacted me was “Les Misérables.” I found it very beautiful.
What role play stories in my life and work? They are tools to nurture the imagination.
What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? Liberating words, but they also carry a weight called responsibility. We must face it head-on, as time and maturity will make this burden lighter. Undoubtedly, it is a true and amazing phrase.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? If such a person exists, they haven’t presented themselves yet, or I haven’t noticed XD.
Which people or companies would I like to work with?
*Hayao Miyazaki – Studio Ghibli: Although my illustrations are completely different, and I am not an animator, it would be an enormous pleasure to work on a project with this master. By watching some documentaries, you can perceive the firmness and maturity of a true teacher reflected in his stories with absurd levels of depth, captivating both children and their parents who marvel at what is before their eyes.
*Beto Carrero World – Theme Park located in Santa Catarina, Brazil: Besides the place being beautiful, the story of João Batista Sérgio Murad, the park’s creator, is incredible. An inspired boy by cowboy/Old West stories created and gifted Brazilians not only with one of the best parks in the world but also with a message: with faith in God, focus, and courage, it is possible to change your reality and that of many others.
*Studio MDHR – (Cuphead): The work of these people not only recalls the golden age
of hand-drawn animation but also shows an above-average care and dedication. I
believe that working with these people would be a learning experience to carry
throughout life.
*Cyber Monkey Studios: These guys are incredible! They have rolled up their sleeves
and are developing a high-quality game called CyberWar. It would be amazing to
work with them and learn from them.
What project am I looking forward to work on? I don’t have a specific one in mind, but if cool projects come up where my illustrations can help communicate, connect, and delight, I will certainly be excited to
collaborate.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? The will to do what I love, even with the difficulties, uncertainties, and fear that it may bring. I do what I do because this passion is a part of me, and I am willing to face the barriers, whether they are related to location, finances, or lack of experience. I move forward with determination and dedication because this passion is an essential part of my identity and purpose, and it never retires.
