What do I like most about my job? The creative process. I come up with a story and create it in a picture. A new interesting world appears, which did not exist before. Knowing that the characters I have invented, either historical or living, will live for centuries and will be seen by future generations, also brings satisfaction and joy from the work done.
What is my idea of happiness? Being is already happiness.

What am I most afraid of? – I don’t know.
What trait do I hate most about myself? I don’t hate myself or anyone.
Which living person in my profession do I admire the most? Admiration is a powerful term. Would I use whose work do I like? These are the ones from whom I can learn something and take something for myself. I am most interested in masters whose technological and technical techniques are difficult to unravel and repeat. What is my biggest waste? Routine that takes time away from creativity, household chores. In Somerset Maugham’s novel Summing Up, there is a phrase: “Life is too short to do for yourself what others can do for you for money.”
In what case would I lie? Jack Nicholson answered this question as follows: “You can only lie to the woman you love and the policeman, everyone else needs to be told the truth.” I agree with him.
What do I dislike most about my job? – Routine. I mean what René Claire meant when he said: “My film is ready, all that’s left is to make it.”
When and where have I been happiest in my work? In the process of each work, I experience happiness, disappointment, fatigue, inspiration and many other vivid emotions… I live it.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I can change everything about myself, and I use it as needed by following my path.

Which books have influenced my life and how? I have always read only interesting authors, all of whom are known in world literature. All of them, in one way or another, influenced my thinking and perception
of the world. “Tao Te Ching” by Lao Tzu, “The Castle” by Franz Kafka, “Prose” by Daniel Kharms, “Tropic of Cancer” by Henry Miller, Victor Pelevin – the list of authors is long, Borges, Cortázar, Márquez, Castaneda, Vonnegut, Salinger, Sartre, Schopenhauer, Stephen Hawking – it is impossible to list all the names.
You only die once. What kind of music would I listen to on my last day? I’m not sure if on the last day, I’ll need music. Boris Pasternak said, “Silence is the best you’ve heard.” Perhaps he’s partly right.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Surveyor K, in Kafka’s novel The Castle, Henry in Henry Miller’s novel Tropic of Cancer.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? I’m interested in all creative people who are engaged in creation.

Which movie would I recommend watching once in a lifetime? “Incident, or Incident in the Subway”, 1967. Directed by Larry Pierce
What role do stories play in my life and work? Any life is already a story, and this is what I use in my work.
What does it mean to me to say “You are the narrator of your life”? Nothing. Only episodes from life can be told, and then they will be subjective, but this does not mean that they are not interesting.
Who is my biggest fan, sponsor, accomplice to crime? – I guess it’s me. I cannot shift such responsibility to anyone.

What project would I like to work on? I create my own art projects and implement them myself. When I get the chance, I’ll make a film.
