What is the best thing that I love about my work? What I love about my work is the possibility to express any thought and feeling and have other people feel emotions on their own.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? On a large scale, I would like people to cooperate and work together instead of fighting to have more of this or more of that. If we are talking about my small world, then my kind of perfect happiness is having the chance to do what you love and (because it is PERFECT happiness), make it for living. Of course family, friends, and love are an important part of a perfect life. I can tell I am pretty happy right now!
What is my greatest fear? My greatest fear is being alone.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I try to work on myself every day to get a better person, but I think I should work more on waking up earlier in the morning.
Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? Too many people should be mentioned here… Let’ s say just a bunch of those who I admire. Sara Pichelli for sure, Fabio Mantovani, Artgerm, Kim Jung Gi, Oliver Copel, Jorge Jimenez, Steve Mc Niven, David Marquez, Theo Caneschi… it’ s a long list.
What is my greatest extravagance? Maybe my greatest extravagance is my long curly hair, that’ s what I am noticed for wherever I go.
On what occasion would I lie? I would lie to keep other people from being sad, but it depends on the importance of the subject. I usually say the truth, or I don’t speak at all.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Honestly… there is nothing I dislike about drawing, painting and telling stories. I could say that I dislike when other people don’ t understand and respect what we are doing, but that’ s something I ignore.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I am the happiest every time I see any improvement in my work or I learn something new.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I would try to feel more confident when I draw or painting instead of focusing on process and technique. I would also read more books.
What is my greatest achievement in work? I am currently working on a graphic novel based on the popular videogame “Call of Duty”. What do the words ‘The Financial Freedom to Create’ mean to me? I think that means that you have enough money or jobs to focus on your own projects and be creative without concerning for your financials.
Where would I most like to live? I love my town but I like many other towns too like Amsterdam or New York.
What is my most treasured possession? I can’ t tell… Maybe that is my new CintiQ or my original Artgerm sketch. Everything I have has a great importance to me.
What is my most marked characteristic? People say I inspire happiness and trust.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? It is a park where people go training or walking with their dogs. I sit there, look around me, look at the trees and the sky and draw or write in peace.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? My favourite place to eat and drink it’ s a small pub where I meet almost every night with my freinds. We like to chat, party, play board games, darts, card games.
What books influenced my life and how? I have to admit I don’t read much. The books that helped me in my life are books about people, books that help you understand them like books on body language and psychology. If we talk about stories instead of books, I would say that my life was definitely changed by manga like Dragon Ball, Shamank King and One Piece.
Who are my favorite writers? My favourite writers are Mark Millar, Brian Michael Bendis, CS Lewis and many others.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? A bit of reggae, a bit of rock, a bit of hip hop and a lot of songs rom Disney Movies!
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? My heroes in fiction are Son Goku, Monkey D. Rufy, Yoh Asakura, Peter Parker, Sherlock Holmes. Again… Long list, I can’ t just pick one.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Every person who fights to make this world a better place. Every person who follows his/her dreams against all the odds. Those are my heroes.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? I guess that’ s the Matrix.
What role plays art in my life and work? I draw and paint all day everyday, so you can tell what is the role that art plays in my life…
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My friends and my mother always support me whatever I do. They encourage and advise me.
Whom would I like to work with in 2019? I would like to work with a big editor like Marvel or Dc in the comic industry or Glenàt and Dargaud in the BD industry.
Which people in my profession would I love to meet in 2019? I would like to meet everyone I mentioned before and every person who can help me get better and better at what I do.
What project, in 2019, am I looking forward to work on? I’ m looking forward to finishing my “Call of Duty” project and to start drawing a personal project of mine which I am writing at the moment.
