The Hero’s Journey of Theodore Raymond Riddle

What is the best thing I like about my work?

In general the simple fact that I have the freedom to do write and draw anyway I want and not have to worry about pleasing anyone but me. I am doing this because I love the draw comics. I have known I wanted to be a comic book artist since I was 13 years old and I have achieved that goal. I would like it if people would like my artwork, but that is not something I have control over, so I draw for me.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

First of all I know there is no such think as perfect happiness in life. I have very big dreams about what I would like to achieve in this world. I would like a publisher to pick me up, have a movie contract, animated series, toy-line, and video games all based on the Compu-M.E.C.H. Mechanically Engineered and Computerized Hero Universe that I have created in the last 25 years. Whether that happens or not, I cannot choose to be miserable my whole life. I have to be grateful that I simply have accomplished all that I already have to this point in my life. For one person to created the equivalent of over 145 regular size comics all by himself in the last 25 years, that is something to be proud of and it may have to be enough. Plus happiness is a state of mind.

Losing my dearest wife, Melissa Riddle to Father time.

What is the trait that I deplore in myself?

Where and when was I happiest, in my work?

When I was working for 5 different magazines a month on monthly titles that I had created and that is where Compu-M.E.C.H. was first given birth. I was making more money at that time in my life than I ever have and I loved it.

If I could what would I change about myself?

I really wish I could quit smoking.

The fact that I have single handedly run an entire company by myself. I have accomplished what it takes an entire company to do.
