Hi I’m Frédéric, I’m the founder of TheGarage Studio in Nantes (France), and here is my story…

What is the best thing that I love about my work? The freedom I have there. I’m free enough to decide by myself what will be the futur of my business, and where I want to bring it.

What is my idea of perfect happiness? Working in TheGarage Studio, with the best team I can imagine, on challenging projects to help innovative startups.

What is my greatest fear? Sharks, but fortunately I don’t meet sharks in my daily job…

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Never being totally satisfied with what I achieve.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? I always admire people who works hard and fight everyday to achieve their dreams & purposes.

What is my greatest extravagance? I drink coffee, I mean a lot and a lot of coffee…

On what occasion would I lie? We all lie. Quite every day. Life would be boring without a few little lies !

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Having stupid requests from my customers…

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Everytime I start a new project, I’m like a kid unboxing a new toy.

If I could, what would I change about myself? Nothing, all is perfect, I’m a genius. Just kidding. Quite the reverse, being more self confident about what I do in my life.

What is my greatest achievement in work? Unifying the most talented freelances and creatives around TheGarage Studio (In progress…)

Where would I most like to live? I’d love to live again in England, for the culture and the activities there are this country.

What is my most treasured possession? My capacity to stay calm in front of a catastrophic situation.

What is my most marked characteristic? I’m an ambitious person, and over all I want my life always going higher

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? I think my office is the place I find my best ideas

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? I’m still looking for this place

What books influenced my life and how? Probably The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. A wonderful story about an ambitious man, who does everything to reach out his purpose. A great lesson !

Who are my favorite writers? No hesitation : Arthur Conan Doyle.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? A very sad song, I want people cries as much as possible

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Sherlock Holmes of course ! The most clever man in UK

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? People who starts from nothing, and step by step paves the way to touch the stars.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? The quite new movie about Freddie Mercury’s life. Just Wow !

What role plays art in my life and work? Not a big one, as for me useless creativity sounds weird.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? Simply my friends and family.

Whom would I like to work with in 2019? The Queen Elizabeth, don’t know yet what for, but that would be so cool !

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2019? I’d love to meet the Blind’s team, a brand strategy agency from US, I actually love their job !

What project, in 2019, am I looking forward to work on? Doesn’t matter as long as it’s new & challenging

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? I don’t know if Passion Retires of not, I’m young, ask me again in 10 years.
