What is the best thing that I love about my work? I love going for a walk in the streets and having the chance to see somebody using a product I have designed, that makes you feel very proud.

What is my idea of perfect happiness? The feeling of reaching my 100% health, 100% love, 100% money

What is my greatest fear? Not being there for my wife and daughters. Or lack of health of my family.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Thoughts of darkness reach from time to time my brain

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Great engineers, great business entrepreneurs, and good persons… At the same time!

What is my greatest extravagance? I am able to eat a €1 McDonald´s burger in a single bite…

On what occasion would I lie? As an industrial designer, you are always lying, as you are thinking about possible products that do not exist.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Getting new customers.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? McLaren Technology Center, Woking, UK. From 2015 to 2018

If I could, what would I change about myself? My weight and my bad feeding habits.

What is my greatest achievement in work? Helping McLaren Racing cutting 1.5 seconds on Pit Stops

Where would I most like to live? Back to Malaga, where I was born in Andalucia, Spain.

What is my most treasured possession? Friends

What is my most marked characteristic? I am obsessed with schedules in projects, I hate late deliveries for customers.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? Sea walk, Pedregalejo, that pier is magic, only if you know how to look at it!

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? There are a lot! Hahaha! La liebre de Carlos, El Campanario, etc.

What books influenced my life and how? A lot of them about design, when I was looking for my references at the early stages of my career.

Who are my favorite writers? Arturo Perez Reverte, Javier Marías, Arthur Conan Doyle.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? A huge concert with my friends listening to Extremoduro, Heroes del Silencio, Vetusta Morla

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Dexter, Sherlock and “Q” from James Bond, the guy who uses to build those crazy gadgets.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Mum, Dad, and my wife!

Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? City of God, it´s a hard one, but quite thrilling!

What role plays art in my life and work? Well, Designers are not artists, but sometimes, they are pretty close… The art is making money with your designs.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? Fan, my wife, sponsor, my shareholder, Mr. JM, and partner in crime, well that´s clear, my friends and I are a crew of ten guys, so, imagine!

Whom would I like to work within 2019? A lot with a lot of my formers workmates, creating a super unbeatable team at job!

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2019? Those real innovators who deliver real projects cradle to grave, I am tired of finding experts in their fields who have never done real stuff, only chit chat.

What project, in 2019, am I looking forward to work on? That´s secret!! Hahaha!

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? This means that I sleep with one eye open, thinking about the next product design… it is exhausting!

Which creative heroes should Peter invite to tell their story? Pedro Gómez from McLaren Racing or Francisco Tercero, those are quite heroes.
