Confidently Present Your Story
A practical storytelling workshop in Amsterdam
5 November 2026
Do you have valuable ideas, expertise or experience—but find it difficult to present them with confidence?
In this intensive one-day workshop, you will learn how to turn your experience into a clear, engaging and convincing story. You will explore what happens when you stand in front of a group, understand the tension that holds you back and practise presenting with greater authenticity, energy and presence.
You will work on more than presentation techniques. You will discover how your posture, voice, pace, body language and personal story work together to engage an audience.
Through focused practice and constructive feedback, you will develop the confidence to take risks, try new approaches and communicate your ideas in a way people can follow, remember and act on.
By the end of the day, presenting will feel less like something you have to endure—and more like an opportunity to connect, influence and be heard.
What you will learn
During this storytelling workshop, you will:
- Identify the personal barriers that prevent you from presenting confidently.
- Understand the source of physical tension and learn how to work with it.
- Discover how posture, voice, pace and presence influence your message.
- Structure your story so that people can follow and remember it.
- Align your words, body language and intention.
- Build the courage to experiment with new ways of presenting.
- Understand how others experience your presenting style.
- Learn how to bring colleagues, clients and audiences with you.
- Develop greater enjoyment, energy and enthusiasm for presenting.

Arrival and opening
What is the first impression you make—and what does your presence communicate before you say a word?
Self-exploration
What happens to you when you present? What are you afraid might happen? Which beliefs, habits or inner convictions hold you back?
Presence and non-verbal communication
You will work with posture, voice, pace, movement and other non-verbal signals. You will learn how to make your delivery more natural, congruent and authentic.

Present your story
You will deliver a short personal or professional presentation and explore how to make your message clearer, more engaging and more memorable.
Feedback and refinement
You will practise your presentation again and receive focused feedback from the trainer and the other participants. You will leave with concrete improvements you can immediately apply at work.
