Drawing. I would draw 24 hours a day If I could .

That one day may last 48 hours. 24 to devote to my work and the other 24 to my family.

Well, as a father, my greatest fear is that something bad may happen to my son.

I can be very lazy.

I have a big passion for useless things. For example, in 2018 I still love to buy CDs
On what occasion would I lie?
I read that there are two types of lies, normal lies and white lies. A white lie is a lie that you say in order to please and don’t hurt somebody. Well, sometimes, I am a white liar.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
Definitely tight deadlines and delayed payments.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
I was quite satisfied when I worked for an advertising agency. But I am thousand times happier since I work as a freelance illustrator.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
I’d like to be more systematic and organized.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
Creating illustrations for clients with whom I have always dreamt to work with. For example five years ago I had succeeded with Rolling Stone and lately I managed to work with The Guardian.

Creating without any anxiety or stress.
Where would I most like to live?
I love Milan but, having been born and raised in a seaside town, I would gladly move my desk on the seashore.

Despite is fifteen years that I live in Milan, when I speak my Pugliese cadence is always unchanged

The walking path from my house to my studio. Even better with headphones and music blaring

The place that I preferred in these years is Elita, near the Navigli.
I do not have a preference for restaurants but I love to frequent Maido, a Japanese streetfood.
What books influenced my life and how?
I can not list them all but I’ll tell you the first I read: “Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo” (that I read when I was 16 years old) and the last one, “Barbarian days” by William Finnegan

Many movies but, if I should choose three of them, I would say: “Once Upon a Time in America”, “The shining”, “Il secondo tragico fantozzi”.

All my best friends, my relatives and my wife Eliana.

By the end of the year I’m going to publish a book with Brian Freschi, a young and very brilliant writer.

I have already had the opportunity to meet and work with many people I appreciate very much. But I have always admired Roberto Recchioni and meeting him and talking to him would make me very happy.
