What is the best thing that I love about my work? I would say the continuous mode of creativity on a daily basis even outside my work. I am able to create my visual storytelling through a phone so I just go everywhere and shoot.
What is my idea of happiness? Success and reaching a mental state of enlightenment
What is my greatest fear? Not accomplishing my goals would be my greatest fear.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? My ability to concentrate on multiple things in a short time. I wish I could concentrate more often on multiple objects but I feel like If I focus on one project, I’d likely be more creative in it.
Which living person in my profession do I most admire? Stanley Kubrick has always been one of my favourite filmmakers. I feel like I know a lot about him without even knowing him through his movies. They are sad, crazy, happy and truthful to a metaphorical degree. It is what motivates me to do what I do
What is my greatest extravagance? Camera and lighting equipment. I’m spoilt to be honest
On what occasion would I lie? Probably when I am not feeling it and someone forcing me to go out. Sometimes I need to get a break.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Honestly, through my experience in the film industry, I have seen a lot of disrespectful and narcissistic people whom I try to avoid of course. I wish people were more nicer and trust me, there are some amazing individuals in this industry as well but you sometimes get the latter as well.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Probably when I am looking through that view finder and realise this is it, I’ve made it. Also when I take photographs, I am my own worst critic so sometimes I just wow myself with some of the shots I have taken let alone others.
If I could, what would I change about myself? absolutely nothing.
What is my greatest achievement in my work? I have accomplished a few things in my life but nothing great to say as my greatest achievement yet. Working towards it everyday
Where would I most like to live? Everywhere honestly. There are so many beautiful countries to visit, I wouldn’t mind living out of my backpack at all
What is my most treasured possession? My life in every possible way to treasure it
What is my most marked characteristic? Persistence
What is my most inspirational place in my city? any art gallery, they motivate me a lot.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink? I have found this amazing shawarma place and whenever I can do a cheat meal, I would order from them. Best pita bread and hummus you have ever tasted
What books influenced my life and how? Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill. This book is religious to me and It opened my eyes to a whole new perspective I never had before.
What music would I listen to on my last day on earth? This is a tough question but I would say definitely Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin
Who is my hero and heroine in fiction? Bruce Wayne for intelligence and power
Who are my heroes or heroines in real life? Andrew Carnegie. His story struck me in an emotional way.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? 2001 A Space Odyssey
What role play stories in my life and work? I’m not sure I understand the question but if you’re asking me what role I play in society, I would probably say to inspire people
What are the words,” You’re the storyteller of your own life” mean to me? It means you are the director, actor, cinematographer, sound engineer, art design,etc to your own story. You are ultimately the one who decides how your movie is going to be.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? It is a undisclosed partner at the moment
Which people or companies would I like to work with? There are a ton of people. Christopher mack, Maria Jose Noreiga, Quentin Tarantino obviously, Spike lee, Wes Anderson, Paul Thomas Anderson, Alfonso Cuaron, Bing Liu, Guillermo Del Toro, Chloe Zhao, The Coen Brothers, David Fincher, Christopher Nolan, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Hirokazu Koreeda, Richard Linklater, Barry Jenkins. These are just some of the many amazing individuals I want to work with. I will probably work for any production company because I’m pretty open in the industry.
What project am I looking forward to work on? I am currently working with a female director on her first debut film. I am also working with a creative director on some ad-films and documentaries. And last but not least, working with an independant director on a movie which will probably start by next year

What do the words,”Passion never retires” mean to me? It means passion cannot be bought but built within you. It means everything to me because I am really passionate and it’s an amazing thing about passion. If you love something, if you have a strong passion for something, you would go to the extreme to go get it. That is me, that is what I am.
