What is the best thing that I love about my work? What I love about my work is the possibility of sharing my inner world with people through my stories and characters. As a comic artist, I would like to show all the legends of my country to every single person.

What is my idea of happiness? For now my idea of happiness is so simple. making sure that my loved ones get what they need to make it in life. I think making your family happy is bliss. As a man this is the ultimate satisfaction. being capable and reliable.

What is my greatest fear? I’m an idealistic man. My greatest fear is to make a mistake in choosing my life partner. i know things are never all black or all white, but still, loyalty and respect are the most important traits for me. I won’t get married twice in my life no matter what, so she has to be the one.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I can be a coward sometimes. I sometimes delay confrontation with people when I know I’m totally wrong, and I hate that. I still have a lot of work to do on myself.

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? Hayao Miyazaki and Boichi

What is my greatest extravagance? My greatest extravagance ? i don’t know really know… maybe my addiction to sex and sensuality. I don’t know if you can call that extravagance, but it’s just the way I am.

On what occasion would I lie? I think I would lie to protect my family or for their best interest. Again, family is the first matter to me.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Well, good art takes time, and I’m not  a patient person. So it’s a constant fight against myself.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I’m very happy when the job is done. First because of all the hard work behind teaching me news things, and second because it feels good to pay your bills at the right time.

If I could, what would I change about myself? nothing. I am who I am.

What is my greatest achievement in work? My greatest achievement so far is the comic book “Houéfa” that i’m making now

Where would I most like to live? I would really like to live in Canada, because I think it’s the best place to learn 2d animation. I would really like to learn 2d animation and make great content for the people of my country and to share our stories.

What is my most treasured possession? My most treasured possession is myself.

What is my most marked characteristic? My most marked characteristic is my silence, i think. i don’t like to talk if it’s not useful.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? It’s the red star place in cotonou.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? my favorite place to eat and drink is home. i like my space and i like to cook.

What books influenced my life and how? “stephanie meyer’s twilight” , ” les âmes vagabondes”, “Sun ken rock” by boichi, Harry Potter, Bilbo the Hobbit, thoses books and theirs characters were my guides when i needed it.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? I would listen to “Ghost in the shell innocence” opening soundtrack

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? My favorite hero is Kitano Ken from “Sun Ken rock”

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? I am my own hero

What role play stories in my life and work? stories are everything, i visualize them before taking my pencil

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? it means you are fully responsible for your choices in life wherever they take you.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? i think my greatest fan is my girl.

Which people or companies would I like to work with? i would like to be a concept artist at riot games or gameloft.

What project am I looking forward to work on? I would like to work on  one of my projects ” Houefa” to see it  becoming an anime and a great  video game
