What is the best thing that I love about my work? The possibility to make every day , a new journey in my art studio.
What is my idea of happiness? Happiness comes when you least expect It. It’s like a lightning that cross the darkest memories and illuminate the present.
What is my greatest fear? Be afraid of being afraid .
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Anxiety and obsession that are subsequently elevated by the art practice

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Gerhard Richter and Anselm Kiefer
What is my greatest extravagance? Be an artist , that for 4 hours and 4 days a week work as a dentist with an artistic approach .
On what occasion would I lie? To support the people I care about .
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The few moments when I forget the spirit of time .
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Lot of times, for example when a new idea materialize in artworks that put a positive spin on my artistic journey. Other times when I was especially happy are the inauguration of the last biennale of Venice in which I participated and the time when the famous art critic Massimiliano Gioni show wonder for my artwork.
What is my greatest achievement in work? Succeed in expose my artworks in one of the most important contemporary art museum.
Where would I most like to live? I would like to live some months in my hometown, some in New York City and during the the rest of the year in Menton, by the sea where my wife has holiday home.
What is my most treasured possession? Freedom
What is my most marked characteristic? At the conceptual level my art can be define as an existential approach about humans identity in the world. Regarding the practice of my art I combine painting with the application of different materials (coal , sand, aluminum, led lights…) . I make installations and sculptures too. I am an eclectic artist.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? I think that both consciously and unconsciously , wherever you live can affect the way you are a human being and so an artist. Certainly the awesome renaissance Ducal Square , in my hometown , Vigevano , where I lived the most during my childhood has a huge impact on my art.
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? Some open air restaurants in the Ducal Square and in the countryside .
What books influenced my life and how? All Ernest Hemingway’s books because of his original combination of real life and storytelling but also for his honest way of writing and his idea of “grace under pressure”. Concepts important , to make art too .
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Heroes by David Bowie
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? An hero, maybe an antihero of when I was young: McMurphy, the main character of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest played by Jack Nicholson
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? The heroes of when I was young: Ernest Hemingway and Vincent Van Gogh, because of how they get together personal and artistic life by burning them deeply. Nowadays I would definitely consider a hero any doctor of “Medicins Sans Frontieres” or people like Albert Sabin who by not patenting his vaccine anti poliomyelitis decided to donate it to all children of the world and because of that he saved millions of lives without any personal profit .
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest for his message of psychological freedom .
What role plays art in my life and work? Art in my life, is disease and medicine
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My grandmother and the painter Carlo Bocca of my hometown in the past and my wife now.
Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2020?  I would like to work to a project with the artist Nicole Voltan that I respect very much , with which I found a lot of common points in our artistic methodological approach .
In a short time , I would like to make a art work together with the rising young artist Clarissa Falco .
Which people in my profession who can make a real difference in my creative career would i love to meet in 2020? Massimiliano Gioni and his wife Cecilia Alemani , two of the most important art curators , Christine Macel and Ralph Rugoff curators of Venice Biennale 2017 and 2019 , the art historian and important curator Daniele Radini Tedeschi , who invited me at 2019 Venice Biennale , the critics and curators Ilaria Bignotti , Ilaria Bonacossa ,Natalie Bell and Cristiana Collu that I respect very much .

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? Passion is a good obsession , helps to work and to turn our weaknesses into strengths
Which creative heroes should Peter invite to tell their story? The artists Fabio Giampietro, Clarissa falco, Enzo Fiore e Andrea Francolino .
