What is the best thing that I love about my work?

I love working on art projects that inspire the community.

What is my idea of happiness?

I have no idea of real happiness, our life is an ongoing search of happiness. We only know small periods of satisfaction (at the moment).

What is my greatest fear?

Myself

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?

I really admire artists who make of their work a Mission or that spend all their life on a unique research projects.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I think too much

What is my greatest extravagance?

Sometimes I really think we are more than one Matteo inside me

Fake people

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

When I curated in 2016 my first exhibition at home in Tuscany, “Contemporary Archetypes”

What is my greatest achievement in work?

The project “In Volo” with Daniele Basso at the Theatre of Silence by Andrea Bocelli in 2019, the foundation with other two friends and colleagues of IPERCUBO, and from this year I’m also Chief Curator at Lucca Center of Contemporary Art.

Where would I most like to live?

At moment I think Capri

What is my most marked characteristic?

I think my intuition

What books influenced my life and how?

In the first part of my life The picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, then Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse. During this last period I think I’m still searching my “yellow book”.

Robin Hood

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

People who fight everyday for a harmonized world
